Authorities say four people in an SUV fired gunshots along multiple Columbia County roads, damaging the roof of an Evans business.

Alexis Miller, 25, Mayer Burgess, 34, Mckenzie Mcferrin, 19, and Cody Mckee, 25, were booked July 7 in Columbia County on felony drive-by shooting charges after the Columbia County Sheriff's Office said gunshots were fired from a moving SUV on multiple county roads.
Booking records identify the four people charged. The sheriff's office said multiple occupants fired shots from the vehicle on July 7, and a bullet damaged the roof of Jeff’s Sewing and Vacuum in Evans. Authorities said no injuries were reported.
The sheriff’s office said the four were detained after the shooting and that a handgun was recovered at the scene.
