Aiken woman accused of false 911 call that drew police to Carriage Drive

Destinya Odom, 24, of Aiken was arrested June 19 after the Aiken Department of Public Safety said a false 911 call for help brought officers to an apartment complex off Carriage Drive. Booking records show Odom was booked the same day in Aiken County on a temporary hold.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety said officers responded around 9 a.m. to a 911 call for help that appeared to come from an apartment near the Odell Weeks Activity Center. The department later said the call was false.
