Keisha Posada Montero, 37, was booked June 16 in Burke County on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and furnishing alcoholic beverages to minors after deputies said she hosted a party in Waynesboro where minors were served alcohol before a June 13 fight and fatal shooting.
The Burke County Sheriff's Office said investigators found Snapchat fliers for the party promoting a beer pong game and BYOB. Deputies also said photos and videos posted by Montero showed minors with alcohol or near a beer pong table. Deputies said several minors later told investigators they were at the party and were served alcohol that Montero bought or served to them.
The sheriff's office said many juvenile witnesses told investigators alcohol use led to the dispute that ended in the shooting death of 22-year-old Jordan Butler. Booking records also show Kenzie Jacquencine Johnson was booked June 16 in Burke County on a false statements charge.
