Dearing man is charged in child molestation investigation
The McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office asked the GBI on June 8 to assist in a child molestation case in Dearing, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Joseph Addison, 45, was booked June 11 into the McDuffie County Jail on charges of child molestation and incest after the GBI said it was asked to assist in a child molestation case in Dearing.
The McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI’s help on June 8, according to the agency. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
