Investigators say two Augusta men are wanted after a kidnapping, carjacking and armed robbery in Columbia County. A 17-year-old was booked Sept. 18 on related charges.

Columbia County investigators are looking for Dealyn A. Lowe, 20, and JaShaun Banks, 19, in connection with an armed robbery, kidnapping, carjacking and assault case, according to the sheriff’s office.
The case has already led to one arrest. Carson Widener, 17, was booked Sept. 18 in Columbia County on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, hijacking of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Deputies said the investigation began after a Sept. 16 incident in Columbia County in which a teen was allegedly struck with a handgun, forced into a vehicle and driven to another location. There, another victim was confronted and robbed of a vape pen before the group left in the stolen vehicle.
Investigators said Lowe and Banks were wanted on the same charges as Widener, with armed robbery also listed in the case. The sheriff’s office said both men were known to carry firearms and asked anyone with information on their whereabouts to call 706-541-2800.
