An incident report says Shawn Larson was known to the victim in a case involving allegations of sex crimes against a child in Hephzibah.

Shawn Larson, 34, of Augusta, was booked Aug. 7 in Richmond County on charges including rape, aggravated child molestation, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes in a case tied to Hephzibah.
An incident report says Larson was known to the victim. Richmond County Sheriff’s Office reports say the allegations involve a child and stem from incidents reported at a Hephzibah home in July 2026.
Sheriff’s office reports also allege that Larson forced himself on the child and made the child perform sex acts.
