Myrtle Beach man booked in Aiken County child exploitation case

Johnny Dehart, 35, was booked June 1 in Aiken County in a child sexual exploitation case after authorities said video evidence tied him to alleged abuse of a child at a home in Salley.

Warrants say the alleged conduct happened between April 23, 2019, and April 22, 2021, at a home in Salley. An incident report says video evidence was later found during a Horry County Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. Investigators said Dehart admitted abusing the child and recording it.
