A Warrenton man has been charged in connection with a stabbing last month in Thomson. Ronnie Johnson, 50, was booked Oct. 8 in McDuffie County on an aggravated assault charge.
Thomson police said investigators identified Johnson as the suspect in the Sept. 18 stabbing of a man in Thomson. The victim was stabbed multiple times.
Johnson was taken into custody without incident. Additional details about the case were not immediately released.
He was booked into the McDuffie County jail on the aggravated assault charge.
